I attended uni on a wet campus and the professors could net seem to tell us enough how alcohol was NOT allowed in the theatre and we could NOT be on the premises under the influence. However, we would always joke that the rule didn’t apply to us in the costume studio. Anyway, I really like this method for freshening. Super quick, super easy, super effective. And the cheaper the vodka, the better!!

I meant “niffy ” not “nifty” – hate predictive text.

(It’s a very pretty dress). It was still nifty, but the vodka spray worked. The expression on the face of the salesperson when I explained why I wanted their cheapest vodka was a picture. She was going straight home to try it on her son’s gear. ☺

Best stuff for this ever for sweaty corsets!! (But you unfortunately you cant buy it anywhere else, and have to get it while you are there and bring it back as part of your duty free allowance – any excuse to go to Italy will do!)

I intend to use this trick on the costumes I did for Spamalot this weekend. before next weekend’s run. Just hope it’s not illegal to bring vodka on a high school campus, haha! I’ve labeled my spray bottles “C2H6O”, so we’ll see who is a scholar… 🙂

I tend to be sensitive to most deodorant ingredients, but vodka works well. But, yeah, don’t drink the stuff. It’s really awful.

Works very nicely.

Bought the Everclear years ago for some other crafty project that I barely remember. Glad to have a good use for it now, but will be perfectly happy to switch to cheap vodka eventually.

Cheap vodka also works nicely in pie crust, making the dough softer/wetter and easier to roll out. Just use half vodka and half water.
