Thanks. I’ve just started ‘draping'(?) my paper pattern. I’m not sure how big the armhole should be to make it accurate? At the moment is fairly small as I reasoned its easier to take away than add back in.

I was also wondering if using darts was acceptable on a regency spencer?

Thanks! Yep, only 6 pieces plus linings. The sleeves were gathered but look a bit like pleats due to the stiff nature of the taffeta.
