I would definitely love to win a spot in the next Victorian Corset Class so I can finally learn how to correctly make a corset, rather then relying on the store bought patterns and ‘winging it’ on the details. I would love to be able to confidently make custom corsets that will last a lifetime and I’ve heard nothing but good things about this class!

  2. Anneliese says:

Wow! 10,000 facebook fans – congratulations!

I would LOVE to win a spot in your upcoming corset class!! I’m interning this summer at a living history museum and making a corset is next on my list. (I’m almost done with those chemises and drawers!) A slightly frightened and confused newbie when it comes to corsets…your class is just what I need!

Thanks for inspiring all of us,
    Anneliese 🙂

  3. Theresa says:

I so very much want to learn how to make a Victorian corset. I’ve been trying on my own and it’s not working well. And I know that with Jennifer’s help I can make an AWESOME corset.

  4. Magdelina says:

I love corsets! I have ever since I wore my first one at age 15. I have made one before but I made it wrong so I hope that I can make a new one that actually fits me this time rather than fits me at the waist and is to big at the bust and hip. I need to start over with my victorian era clothing because I have grown out of my old dresses due to having 2 pregnancies. in the future I plan on learning how to make a maternity corset do you think you would ever make a class for that?

    • Jennifer Rosbrugh says:

Personally, no because although there are those who would love it, it has to be timed right 😉 and I’ve never been pregnant. Perhaps though, I can find someone who can teach and I can host the class.

  5. Cathy Fields says:

I’d sure like to win this for my daughter. She’s graduating this May with a theater costume design degree!

  6. Margaret says:

I’d love to learn more about victorian corset making – I’m in several 19th century enthusiast and steampunk groups, and I’d love to both make more accurate costuming and have more background on how corsetry really works.

  7. Danielle Corr says:

Because I won the Costume College giveaway, I debate even entering. How selfish would it be if I did win? Then my desire to learn more about making a period appropriate bustle era corset drove any thought of selflessly abstaining from my mind.

  8. Dawn Peffly says:

I love corsets but am afraid to take that first step to make one. Winning this course would give me that little push to make it!

  9. Lynn says:

Your practical sewing tips and inspirational pictures really help. They give me the encouragement I need to try projects that used to scare me. Thanks so much.

  10. Michael B. says:

I have tried making corsets in the past and would love any help and tips I can get to improve as they were never quite right.

  11. Maureen B says:

Your blog tips are so full of valuable information, I can’t wait to learn how to make a corset. Thanks for all you do.
